Carina Chocano...it's still not a level playing field for women

As a child, our guest, Carina Chocano, was confused by the mixed messages all around her about how to be a woman.  The messages told her who she could be and who she couldn't.  After spending five years as a movie critic, Carina came to understand how the stories our culture tells us about what it means to be a girl limit our lives and shape our destinies.  She's written about that in her new book, titled 'You Play the Girl: On Playboy Bunnies, Stepford Wives, Train Wrecks, & Other Mixed Messages'.
