James and Jeff talk about how Jeff ended up in the Bay Area from Rhode Island and his career path before advertising. Jeff tells James what he learned from a presentation from Steve Jobs, and Jeff recalls some of his own most memorable pitches and how being authentic is oftentimes the most important part of the pitch. They talk about how for a creative, the ad world can be rejection after rejection and how to deal with that.
