Why did Apple remove the iPhone's headphone jack?

The Verge's Walt Mossberg and Lauren Goode talk with Recode's Kara Swisher and Dan Frommer about Apple's most recent product event, where it unveiled the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, a new Apple Watch and wireless earbuds called AirPods. Walt says the event represents a big gamble for Cupertino, but there’s one thing everyone sees as a safe bet: Nintendo's upcoming iOS game Super Mario Run.
