How Did Anthony Armendariz Feel Right Before His Baby Was Born?
Anthony Armendariz, partner and head of design at Funsize, told Geek at Sea he was screaming on the inside and trying to look calm just before the baby arrived. The design business did not scare him. He had run it for 20 years. He and Natalie had been unsure they wanted children, and the pregnancy was a happy surprise. What scared him was that he might not switch from work to family. A childhood without much money, and a hustle from his teens through his thirties, had made him intentionally selfish, he said. He first felt stable at 35. At 40, those five years were the first he had lived on his own terms.
