Who Is Submittable CEO Michael FitzGerald?

at 0:07

From the episode: Submittable CEO talks startups, life, cancer and living in Missoula, Montana.

Answer

Michael FitzGerald is the founder and CEO of Submittable, the Missoula company that runs submissions and applications. On Rad Dad he tells Kirill Zubovsky that he started as a copywriter in San Francisco advertising in the 1990s, during the first dot-com wave, after studying liberal arts. He has written about that period and about Eastern Europe. He later went through Y Combinator, raised a Series A, and lives in Missoula with his wife and two children. Kirill Zubovsky introduces him as someone with stage-four terminal cancer. The episode description says he learned of the cancer the day after the round, and was told he might have six months. He was still running the company.
