Terence was still a graduate student and technically did not quality for his position at the time, but he really wanted the job and managed to get through most of the interviews without ever disclosing that he was still in school. They saw his drive and desire to be at JP and he got accepted.

Startups were just too exciting. One can always go back to a law firm and keep working at a stable job, if a startup does not work out.

Terence shares about the beginnings and behind-scenes story of his first startup, Ross & Zane, a food delivery business pre-UberEars, DoorDash, etc.

What motivated you to build a startup in that space? Note the business was based in Australia.

Terence shares why he thinks building a business in Australia is so hard.

Terence explains how Ross & Zane's user base was growing slowly, through the word of mouth. Their chefs would prepare lots of meals every day and constantly experimented with packaging. Through all of this, it was crucial that food that was ordered looked exactly like the food which was prepared. Customers wanted to eat exactly the meal that was shown to them in the pictures. If they got this part wrong, everything else did not matter.

The was no real competitor to what they were doing so getting attention was not a problem. Churn was a huge challenge.

Terence shares the exact moment in which he realized Ross & Zane would shut down. He also explains the issues behind the startup.

Terence explains his view about the food startup space and how it has always been tricky.

Terence explains how he moved from a food delivery startup to a mobile phone B2B marketplace.

What were those mistakes committed on Ross & Zane's journey and lessons learned that have determined how you started and run Reflow Hub?

Terence shares the challenges he's currently facing in Reflow Hub.

How does Reflow Hub you plan to keep innovating and growing? Terence shares some background and his vision for the future of the company.
