34. Nashlie Sephus, PhD - homegrown Jackson, MS millionaire

Dr. Nashlie H. Sephus sits down with Arlan in LA to discuss how she and her teammates—including YFM alum Jewel Burks-Solomon— turned their highly technical startup into a successful exit to Amazon in just a few short years. Today, Nashlie leads the Amazon Visual Search & AR team-Atlanta. She received her PhD from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology and her BS in ECE from Mississippi State University. Her core research area is Artificial Intelligence. This native of Jackson, MS, recently became founder of The Bean Path non-profit which assists individuals with technical expertise/ guidance.
