About Maz: Mr. Maz Pawar is the Chief Executive officer & President of SA Capital Partners, LLC. He oversees all capital raising & M&A activity, he is responsible for the strategic vision and overall direction of the firm, along with the Senior Managing Directors. In the last decade, Mr. Pawar has been directly involved in more than fifty financing and M&A assignments totaling over $1 Billion, across a range of industry sectors including technology, healthcare and industrials. He has also been a part of over 100 engagements over his career. Mr. Pawar is also the Managing Partner for Pawar Capital Investments, a family-backed private investment firm seeking to acquire, recapitalize and assist in the operation of US-based lower middle-market businesses. Prior to starting SA Capital Partners, Mr. Pawar served as Managing Partner & President at Auctus Group, Inc. He has over sixteen years of experience in the financial services sector. Prior to establishing Auctus Group, Mr. Pawar served as Managing Director & Partner at an international investment banking boutique MSC Advisors. He began his career in various corporate finance and investment banking roles at Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Houlihan Smith & Company, and Wells Fargo Capital. With a highly diverse background in debt capital markets, capital financing, and business advisory, Mr. Pawar delivers unique insights regarding capital markets and corporate financing transactions across all industry verticals.

In addition, Mr. Pawar leverages his unique skillset in operations management, client service, and corporate advisory to create and maintain a client-focused culture, staffed with highly motivated and highly skilled individuals. Mr. Pawar graduated with honors from Rutgers University, where he earned his bachelor’s in Economics and Political Science. Mr. Pawar grew up in New Jersey and moved to Chicago in 2007. He has moved back to New York and is active member of several non-profits supporting underprivileged and inner-city youth. He is a passionate basketball fan. In his free time, he also enjoys spending time with his two sons.
