Maverick Carter, the business manager for basketball superstar LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers, talks to Recode's Kurt Wagner about how the internet has radically changed athletes' place in the media world. Athletes are no longer reliant on newspapers and TV networks to tell their stories, which means that they -- and the people they trust -- can hone and craft the narrative more than ever before.
