What Did Hadley Fraser and Ramin Karimloo Do in Les Misérables After the Phantom 25th?

During the Phantom of the Opera 25th anniversary, Cameron Mackintosh had Hadley Fraser and Ramin Karimloo sing for a Jean Valjean role. They remember doing the confrontation downstairs at the Prince Edward Theatre, where Mamma Mia was playing, with Cameron in the room. Fraser was playing Javert, and the two of them then spent four months in Les Misérables together. He says it felt like coming full circle on a show he has a complicated love for. He also describes the jump from Marius to Javert, about ten years later, as accelerated aging. Neither part, in his telling, is the light option.
