The cavnessHR Podcast - A talk with Dr. David Bugay

Dr. David Bugay serves as an administrator for the South Orange County Community College District where he has served as a vice chancellor for human resources for nine years. Prior to that he served as vice president for human resources at College of the Desert and as a chief business officer for the Oakland Community College District Auburn Hill’s campus. Dr. Bugay will move to a professor position in January 2019 at Irvine Valley College. In the meantime, he has been busy writing. His works to date include: Zombie Dearest, a musical comedy play and two poetry books Naked Turtle Dances and Zombie Dearest: Poems for Young Zombies. Dr. Bugay has a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the Union Institute and University accompanied by an MBA from Oakland University. His latest project which will hit bookstores around August and is entitled Backbonology: Tough Decisions at Work. This is a practical, hands-on book which deals with “boots-on-the-ground” material on the development and

implementation of tough decisions in the workplace. David resides in Orange County, California with his family and friends, especially his wonderful wife, Suzie Bugay.
