   Startups and founders often share their past failures, but rarely share their work in progress. That's because if that work ends up a failure, they will be judged and perhaps remembered for it.

   However, while sharing WIP makes you vulnerable, that vulnerability makes this information interesting to people, and a message that would otherwise be shelved and forgotten gets spread for free.

   Sharing work in progress isn't just a good way to learn from your customers, but also a way to spread your ideas for free.
