How Did Jonathan Sposato Learn to Parent With No Father?

On What Fuels You, Jonathan Sposato says he was born in London to a single Chinese mother and did not meet his own father until about eighteen months before this interview. Asked how he learned to be a dad, he jokes that the question assumes he is a decent parent. His son, then about nine and interested in tech, science, and punch lines, is the part of parenting he enjoys most. His method is to lean in. From birth until he himself was nine, the age his son is now, he had no father, so he tries to spend as much time with the boy as he can. Being an older parent, he says, makes the schedule more flexible.
