10. Jewel Burks - "I sold my computer-vision company to Amazon for millions."

Jewel Burks Solomon is co-founder of Partpic, an Atlanta-based startup that was designed to streamline the purchase of maintenance and repair parts using computer vision technology. After Partpic was acquired by Amazon in 2016, Jewel became an angel investor and advisor to dozens of startups across the country. She is a native of Nashville, Tennessee and a graduate of Howard University.
