Speaker 1

Hey, what's up guys? I got a little bit of a, conundrum for ya. Word of the day, conundrum. Look it up. Anyways, look, this is just a fun little exercise just to get you thinking outside of the box a little bit. So what I'm gonna do, I'm going to give you five different items that you may potentially be able to use as currency to get yourself out of a very life-threatening scenario.

So with that being said, in this exercise, this is something, the scenario would be something, you need speed. Speed and time are of the essence. You gotta get the hell out of a certain area, pay somebody off, bribe somebody, do something. What I'm getting at is there's no time to be counting shillings and, trying to get a discount. It's you're gonna offer an item of value.

To save to somebody who potentially may have something that could save your life. So with that being said, here we go. Write them down in the comments or write it down on a piece of paper. Just test yourself and then I'll go over, my thinking on each decision point, at the end here. So starting off, would you rather

have a Rolex with you to get yourself out of a scenario

or gold? So roughly this amount of gold here equals This Rolex, seven gold coins would equal this Rolex, what would you rather carry on your person in case of a bad scenario

to get yourself out of it? Seven gold coins, one ounce each, or one Rolex watch? Write it down in the comments.

All right, next scenario. You can have one ounce of gold

or the equivalent seven ten ounce bars of silver.

Which would you prefer to carry around with you to get yourself out of a life threatening scenario?

You'd be carrying it every day. Comment below, let me know what you would use.

All right, next decision point. You have the silver that you can carry around everywhere with you, or

cryptocurrency, which fits in a phone. So you can have silver, the equivalent to this silver, and cryptocurrency, which is roughly $2,000. Comment below, which would you rather have with you?

All right, the next scenario, the cryptocurrency

or the cash, which one do you want to get yourself out of a life-threatening scenario? Comment below.

Last scenario, would you rather carry the cash

or the watch to get yourself out of a life-threatening scenario? Comment below.

All right, now I'm gonna give you my thought process behind everything. So, but before I do, I just wanna repaint the scenario here. So, I used to wear a Rolex everywhere I went when I was working for CIA for this exact reason, okay? Now I'm throwing other currencies or items of value that could possibly get you the same thing. Now, with that being said, like I, like I was saying earlier, we're not bargaining, we're not counting our shillings here, it is something of high value that you're willing to trade for something of nominal value, meaning you're about to be killed, and maybe that ride to the airport in an unmarked car is worth your Rolex watch.

Maybe being hid in somebody's basement for the next 24 hours might be worth seven gold coins. Maybe the car that you need to get yourself to wherever you're going out of this scenario that you're in is worth eight bars of silver. So that's the scenario I'm trying to paint here, okay? So my thinking behind this, I would have chosen the Rolex watch, okay? Reason behind that, both these are equal value right now, okay?

Seven coins or the watch, all right? Why would I pick the watch? I pick the watch because I don't have to carry around seven coins in my pocket, in my E&E bag, or anywhere else on my person. The watch is always going to be on my wrist. I'm never going to forget it. Everybody knows what a Rolex is. And before you go on, okay, about, well, there's a lot of Folexes out there.

Yes, there are Folexes. There's also fool's gold, all right? But what you might be able to do is, look, I'm Alls I need is a ride to the airport. I'm gonna give you my watch as soon as we get there. It's not gonna be anything for them to give you a ride to the airport with, you know, they're willing to take a gamble on getting a fake watch.

Another thing you could do is carry around your card of authenticity, right? So, might help prove that it is a real watch. But anyways, even without that, I would pick the watch just because it doesn't take up any space. I'm not gonna lose it. It's always on my wrist, never gonna forget it, and, so I would pick the watch.

The next scenario was one gold coin or the equivalent in silver. So, I would choose the gold coin. Why would I choose the gold coin? Because I don't wanna carry around

Seventy ounces of silver around with me everywhere I go, okay? I would rather carry one gold coin. Equal value, one takes up less space, you can hide one a little bit more. I don't think that anybody's gonna think the gold is real and the silver's fake or vice versa. So, just me personally, I would pick the gold coin. Easier to keep track of.

The next scenario, cryptocurrency or silver?

In this scenario, I would pick the silver. If crypto was a little bit more popular and everybody had it, I would probably pick the crypto because it goes in your phone. Guess what? I always have my phone on me, and when I was working, I always had my phone on me. Used a phone. But, so this is just part of your everyday carry as a normal human being.

Enough said. Now, if crypto, but with that being said, crypto is not that popular. A lot of people don't have it. Shit, probably less than half the population even knows what it is, right? So, in that scenario, I would go with the silver because of the lack of popularity with crypto.

In the next scenario, we had the crypto or the cash. In this scenario, I would pick the cash for the exact same reasons I would have picked the silver. Everybody knows what a greenback is

across the globe. Not everybody knows what crypto is yet. So, even though you can carry more crypto and then you could cash because it all fits in a phone, right? I would still pick the cash because it has the universal, everybody knows what a greenback is. So, I would pick the cash.

In the last scenario, the Rolex or the cash? Probably my toughest choice of all of them. Honestly, I would probably go with the Rolex because I don't want to carry the equivalent amount of cash with me all the time. That's a substantial amount of cash, and I would just rather have it on my wrist, for that specific scenario. Now, with that being said, I do, and I would, always carry some cash with you, just not quite that much.

Everybody speaks greenback. Everybody knows what this is. For what you're going to use it for,

You're probably gonna get what you want with any of these items, so keep that in mind. There are no right and wrong answers either, just because I chose one thing and you chose another doesn't mean your method and your reasoning behind that is wrong. I'm just telling you my reasoning, and this is just a fun exercise, you know, to get everybody doing a little bit of critical thinking.

So, cheers to that. All right, guys, I hope you enjoyed the exercise. Now, if you don't mind, I gotta,

get all this shit back to the rightful owner. But before I do,

one other bargaining chip that might help you in a pinch that trumps all,

and that's vigilance elite gummy bears. You can get em at vigilance elite dot com.
