How Did Chaos Theory Lead Bill Thompson to Dreams?

Bill Thompson got into Carl Jung and dreams while trying to learn chaos theory to impress his wife. She is a mathematician who went to Johns Hopkins, and he calls her super smart, outside the normal distribution. She was reading books on chaos theory, so he went on YouTube for videos about chaos theory.

He clicked a Jordan Peterson video about chaos and order, not chaos theory. Peterson had not blown up yet and was just posting on YouTube. Thompson watched to understand chaos theory and instead got into Carl Jung. He says he has a very addictive personality, so he started reading every Carl Jung book he could, including the collective unconscious and the red books, and he really got into dreams.

Thompson says getting into dreams might be a self-fulfilling prophecy. He says it does not matter, because the practice is particularly useful to him. He also says he meets way more men mathematicians than women, and he is just observing patterns.
