Why Put Important Content High on a Homepage?
Marvin Schwaibold puts important content at the top of a homepage because people drop off as they scroll. Each section of the homepage is the first chapter of the child pages, and each one should lead into the matching page.
When designing for clients, products, solutions, resources, and pricing became the four main parts of the homepage when the team treated them as the most important parts. The product features, the solutions, the resources, and the pricing then show up in exactly that order, from most important to least important, because of scroll depth. A whole product section belongs on the homepage, and from there a visitor can click into products. With so many products, products should probably have a homepage of their own.
The website is well designed and simple. The team took time and care to make it.
