Why Would Hannah Berner Fly Home Instead of Going to a Hospital?
Hannah Berner would rather book a flight home than go to a hospital in another country. In Singapore she asked if she should go to the hospital for the bit, and she answered herself: she is not going, she is not doing the paperwork, and that could be how she goes. She wondered if listeners would be disappointed if she flew 22 hours to Singapore, got too constipated, took a laxative, and got back on the plane. She had been this close in Italy. If they had told her she had to go to the hospital there, she was going home.
She still did the day. She walked 10,000 steps, saw Singapore, ate the local food, and met a ton of people, while she said something sick and demonic was happening and she started walking like a pregnant woman. She thought she might have a blockage. She treated being able to fart as the sign she was not blocked, because if you cannot fart, that is a bad sign.
