Why Does Rob Erskine Say Hydrolyzed Collagen Needs Exercise To Increase Collagen In Tendons?

Rob Erskine, at Liverpool John Moores University, says exercise is required for hydrolyzed collagen to increase collagen in tendons. Tissues that have been stressed and are trying to produce more collagen soak up amino acids more readily. Taking collagen without exercise probably does not help a tendon, because the tissue needs to be stressed.
