Why Does 97 Percent Accuracy Matter on Loan Documents?
Aaron Levie says 70 percent accuracy on a bank's 100-page loan documents versus 97 percent is a world of difference, and automating that work means hill climbing from the off-the-shelf model to 97 percent.
Box Labs is Box's applied AI team. The engineers on the research side still work at the applied layer: take agents and get another 10 points of accuracy on a given problem, and build a map of the problem set from a given set of data so the task can be executed. One team works at the agent level and the harness level on auto research that hill climbs accuracy when answering questions against client data. A lot of work goes into the system to pull that off.
