Why Did Mary Elmalak's Nursing Change the Adea Case?
On To Live and Die in LA, private investigator Jayden Brant is told by the Los Angeles police to lay off Chris Spotz, the last person seen with Adea Shabani. Brant does not stop. His staff keep searching, and they turn up Chris's fiancée.
She is Mary Elmalak, a nurse. Brant says that changes the theory. A nurse would have access to medication and would know what to give someone if the plan was to put them under or induce a coma. Strauss calls it a disturbing theory, and it pulls Mary into the suspicion around Chris.
