Did Adea Shabani Really Attend a Sacramento Funeral?
at 10:04
Answer
On To Live and Die in LA, a friend from Adea Shabani's acting class said Adea was going with Chris Spotz to his uncle's funeral in Sacramento. Neil Strauss calls Chris Marez, Chris Spotz's father, who lives in the countryside outside Sacramento, runs a laser-light company, and sells horses.
Chris Marez says the uncle Adea was supposedly mourning is not dead and is not even in the hospital. The story does not make sense. Asked whether the funeral could have been for a different uncle, on the mother's side, Marez says his ex-wife and her family live in Fort Morgan, Colorado, and have no connection to Sacramento.
