How Does Box Keep Company Knowledge Ready for AI?
Aaron Levie says any question about the Box business that was ever written down as unstructured data is already 100% in Box, and he thinks the data hygiene is pretty good.
Meeting notes, project plans, roadmaps, presentations, financial documents, and financial planning sessions all sit in Box because nobody was allowed to use another system. The setup matches how the company has always run, so the files are easy to work with at scale. Salesforce and the other core systems sit alongside that record. Agents running on top make it a little easier to operate in an AI-first way. The move is to find the workflows with the highest leverage and aim there. The CIO is very deep on AI, Box has a center of excellence on AI, and the company hired internal AI FDEs to help with the work.
Box does not try to max out tokens. There is a list of people by number of tokens, used to check whether the usage looks useful or whether a lesson should go back to another function.
