What Was Kirill Zubovsky's Product Scoutzie for?

at 9:31

From the episode: The Scoutzie Story (feat. Kirill Zubovsky)

Answer

Kirill Zubovsky tells the Hustle podcast that Scoutzie started as a prototype to help students find work they could do online, because he did not want a day in an office. Seattle designer Kelly Smith, who became the first angel investor, said designers would want it more than students. What Zubovsky built was a showcase, closer to portfolios in the style of Dribbble than a tool that tried to do everything. Funsize co-founders Anthony Armendariz and Natalie later describe Scoutzie sending them client leads and telling them to take a long-term project on their own, which became an early Funsize client.
