How Much Does a Top AI Model Cost Per Day?

Peter Diamandis says the highest and most expensive model costs about a buck for a day of equivalent human labor. A person doing the same work would normally cost roughly a thousand times as much.

Half a billion tokens consumed in a day used up about 5,000 people worth of work in a single day. Without any improvements, the trend line is coming down 10x year over year, and it will accelerate from there with other unanticipated improvements. A year from today, last Friday's level of use reaches 50,000 people working at a super high IQ level and totally focused.

One of the biggest challenges is what people point their SI at. A lot of people freeze and say they have no idea.
