What Happens in Rocky Flintstone's Belinda Blinked 2?
On the Footnotes episode, Jamie Morton, James Cooper, and Alice Levine read the blurb for Belinda Blinked 2. Belinda Blumenthal, sales director at Steele's Pots and Pans in central London, travels to Amsterdam and meets her first large international client. Dr. Pieter Robbins, who handles contracts, "carpets" her, with help from his secretary Helga. She then goes out with managing director and chairman Peter Rouse, meets the Russian Grigor Calanski and his assistant Lara Alexandra Kuznetsov, and is introduced to Countess Zara of Leningrad. She later returns to her London office and deals with a possible sales-staff resignation in her own way. The hosts say the blurb gives the plot away.
