Why Do the Hosts Call Belinda Blumenthal a Strong Character in the Job Interview?

at 22:12

From the episode: S1E1 - 'The Job Interview'

Answer

In the first chapter of Belinda Blinked, the managing director asks whether Belinda has any problem with what the Steele's Pots and Pans interview has become. She shakes her head and says that, with the company's backing, she will do whatever is necessary to make the sales happen. Alice Levine is unconvinced. Jamie Morton argues that this is what makes Belinda strong: she knows what she wants and will take an unorthodox route to get it, and he thinks that should be championed. She also does not apologize for the bra she wore on purpose. The hosts treat the interview as a strange sort of success. She gets the job.
