Mark Cuban says get-rich-quick schemes spread on social media because each person sees more of whatever they already watch.

His son, who just turned 17, kept showing him dropshipping, shoe drops, and a water blaster for cleaning sidewalks. Mark Cuban says if the schemes were good businesses, the people behind them would be running the businesses, and nobody with an edge in the stock market would be selling that edge. He says Section 230, which protects algorithms, is a big part of holding kids back, because preparation does not earn views on Instagram or TikTok.
