What Diversity Did Anthony Armendariz Describe at Funsize?

Anthony Armendariz, co-founder of the design studio Funsize, tells Katie Dill, then VP of design at Lyft, that colleagues asked him to raise diversity with her. He says Funsize is female-owned, most of the team are minorities, and about 60 percent of the company is women. Almost all of the applicants he is seeing are women. He reads that design lacks women and says he does not see that shortage from inside Funsize. Dill says she is a fan of the studio, that the mix of people is part of why the work is strong, and that inclusion is not something a growing team ever finishes.
