At the end of the final chapter, "Monday Morning 7.45am," they notice she never does. The book finishes without the blink the title promises. Jamie Morton, James Cooper, and Alice Levine say a weight comes off their shoulders, then they put it straight back on by agreeing to read book two through 2016. Rocky Flintstone has also left a note asking readers to review Belinda Blinked 1 on Amazon. The missing blink is their punchline for the whole first book.
