A few months earlier she had been canceled worse for a phrase she is known for, try being an influencer for a day, which she says was taken out of context. Someone commented, try getting a nine to five. She made a response video saying she worked until five nineteen that day, described what the job involves, and said try being an influencer for a day.

She knew in the moment the line was wrong and deleted the video within seconds, but someone saved it. It did not blow up until years later. She had made it in her first year as an influencer, while she was still figuring the work out, and she says she does not agree with the statement anymore. The L'Oreal argument landed lighter because the earlier phrase had already prepared her.
