Would Mustafa Suleyman Say AI Wants to Destroy Humanity?

Mustafa Suleyman would not say that people in the AI industry want to destroy humanity. Walter Isaacson had just quoted Peter Thiel, from an earlier episode of The Builders, calling Anthropic a cult, and asked whether Mustafa believed that.

Mustafa will not use that phrase. With the field uncertain and moving fast, more tribalism and finger-pointing is the last thing he wants. Everybody in the industry is trying to do the right thing, nobody wants to cause existential harm or destroy humanity, and he thinks people should see the best in one another.
