Elon Musk says Mars could be warmed with solar reflectors, or with a series of thermonuclear explosions used as artificial suns. He says the sun is a giant thermonuclear reactor, and a person can stand in sunlight and not die, so he does not treat the radiation from those explosions as dangerous.
