How Did Chet Holmes Win 28 Clients in One Month?

James Dickerson says Chet Holmes won 28 clients in one month, by month six, after he stopped chasing the advertisers everyone else was pitching. In The Ultimate Sales Machine, Holmes built a list of 2,200 advertisers, and 167 of them bought 95 percent of the ads. The advertisers already buying hear pitch after pitch. Holmes built relationships with advertisers who had not bought yet and took the longer path: be patient, be a snail, show up every day, and add value. Business owners may come to trust that seller more than the sellers who only show up with a pitch.

People working with AI often expect instant results. They build a list, blast emails, send cold messages on LinkedIn, quit when nothing happens right away, and move on. Earning a business owner's trust is a long game, and it takes real value.
