What Is the Kailasa Temple?
Joe Rogan says the Kailasa Temple is one immense temple carved right out of the mountain, so the entire structure is a single piece of volcanic rock, massive, elaborate, and insanely hard.
A man sent a hundred men for two years to destroy the temple, and after two years they quit because they could barely put a dent in it. The carving only removes stone. A bad column on a built temple can be swapped for another column, but a mistake while cutting the whole temple from one rock cannot be fixed. Millions and millions of tons of stone are unaccounted for. The kookiest explanation is laser technology that melted the stone away, which would mean people had something akin to laser cutting tools thousands and thousands of years ago. There is zero conventional explanation for the detail and the geometry. No one knows how the temple was made, how long the work took, who did it, who paid for it, or what the purpose was. What happened during the Civil War is barely known, certain battles are barely known, and how people were treated is only roughly understood, so the dig out of a solid chunk of rock is even less clear.
The same pattern shows up in rockets and pyramids. Once food and shelter are sorted, people always seem to aim up at something transcendent, something bigger than themselves that connects them to other people.
