How Big Can Anthropic Revenue Get?

Chamath Palihapitiya says Anthropic can become a revenue business in the hundreds of billions of dollars within about three to seven years if it reaches 25 or 30 percent of what is possible, with a reasonable spread of negative churn.

About 40 million individuals and small businesses spend under $100,000. About 10,000 customers spend between $100,000 and a million. About 1,650 spend between $1 million and $10 million, and only 250 customers spend $10 million or more. About 1,900 companies have made the case for large checks, and a big portion of those are venture-funded AI natives. Under a million dollars, directors, managers, and VPs with million-dollar budgets experiment and sign up for many tools. Multimillion-dollar deals need a cross-functional pitch and a clear return or a total-cost-of-ownership advantage.
