What Vehicles Does Infinite Machine Make?
Joseph Cohen says Infinite Machine makes two vehicles right now: the P1, a super high-end electric seated scooter he calls a roadster, and the Alto, a bike-lane version built from the same platform. The P1 goes 65 miles an hour, carries a license plate, is fully street legal, and includes car play plus cameras on the front and the back. It is stable and smooth, and the ride feels like gliding through earth. Deliveries have started, the P1 is fully in production, and it costs 10,000 dollars.
The core of the platform then drops into the Alto, a 20 mile per hour vehicle that is legal in the bike lane. Alto takes a lot of the technology, thinking, and supply chain from the P1 and sells for 3,500 bucks.
Infinite Machine plans to keep building on the platform. The larger project is an engine that could produce vehicles from sketch through to mass production in a short amount of time, take risks on new form factors, and change how people think about moving around the world.
