What Is Glue Club for Lonely Leaders?
Molly Graham gets a lot of wisdom and a lot of support for conversations about loneliness from the community at Glue Club. A leader who feels lonely and a little unsupported should find a community, Glue Club or another one, and talk there. Leaning on each other is how people learn what is real and what is not, and what is valuable and what is not.
Much of the work in Glue Club is asking whether anybody else is seeing the same thing, and that check is really valuable. The same conversation can happen in Lenny land. The point is to get out and talk about what is real and what is not instead of staying in a sad, lonely hole.
Plenty of space exists right now for what to do, which skills to get, which course to take, which tools to try next, and who is hot today. The human side, and what it feels like to go through the change, gets far less room. The hope is that people leave feeling a little more sane, because everybody else is feeling a little crazy right now too, lots of people are grieving, and feeling that way is normal.
