Can AI Turn a Small Law Firm Into a Billion-dollar Business?

Alex Rampell says a small law firm powered by Eve could become a billion-dollar revenue business. Morgan & Morgan, which he calls the biggest trial firm, already has billions of dollars in revenue, while the average firm stays small. He pictures the caseload moving from about 100 cases per attorney to 500, and maybe 5,000 later, and asks why a practice would stay in one very small New Jersey office instead of becoming a larger institution.

He puts that question to Jay Madheswaran. Jay says many of these firms will look more like software companies and will finally join the software shift they were left out of for the last 30 years.
