How Many Clients Can One Lawyer Handle With Eve?
Jay Madheswaran says one firm in LA used Eve to go from managing about 100 clients per attorney to 500. Using Eve makes the firm a lot more money, because Eve is built to handle a plaintiff case end to end and take the labor constraint off each lawyer.
Plaintiff law historically needed little more than a cell phone and an email address. No software had solved the core problem, which is labor. People cannot pay $500 or $600 an hour on a blank check for however long the case might take. Most people think of AI as a way to fire everybody and cut costs. Eve is aimed at that labor limit, so the same attorneys can carry the larger caseload and the firm earns more.
The LA firm shows what changes when the software covers the work end to end: about 500 clients per attorney, up from about 100, with the gain showing up as more money for the firm.
