Back to Why AI Could Turn Small Law Firms Into Billion-Dollar Businesses, with Alex Rampell & Jay Madheswaran.

Will Every Legal Case Go to Court?

Jay Madheswaran says not every legal case will go to court. He calls it most likely, and inevitable, that systems will be created so not everything goes to the core system. Law already uses that framework.

Some types of veterans affair cases go through a different committee. Labor and employment goes through the EEOC in a lot of cases before it goes through. Employers have figured out different ways to mediate and have arbitration that does not necessarily go through the court system.

The framework evolves. He expects more of these side paths, so more disputes are handled without all of them reaching the core system.
