Why Is Beyoncé's Self-titled Album Number Three?
at 54:45
Answer
Duffy walks the Beyoncé scores forward from 2011. Four got a 7.8. The 2013 album, Beyoncé, got an 8.8 and Best New Music. Duffy says Pitchfork also ranked that self-titled album the third best album of 2010 through 2019. He calls the placement giant. In his reading, Pitchfork is essentially calling the record a ten. Four, he adds, landed at number 31 of the same decade, which he calls pretty significant too.
Mike says the self-titled ranking is what won him the group's decade draft. He thanks Beyoncé for the service and says he will never forget the album, or her, for doing that.
