What Is a Third-person YouTube Channel?
Colin Rosenblum and Samir Chaudry call Cristiano Ronaldo's YouTube a third-person channel. He is not presenting himself there as a creator trying to connect with an audience. The channel is a celebrity dumping ground, run more like a TV channel than like a person showing up.
The uploads mix vlogs and training footage with trailers for projects he is only vaguely involved in. He invested in an MMA company called WOW, and the channel posts trailers and event highlights he is not in. A huge subscriber count makes it easy to put something out. The room's verdict is that the channel is not good YouTube.
One video stands apart: Cristiano Ronaldo meeting Celine for the first time. It is short, raw, and something people actually want to see. A meeting with Speed would need to be a big stream, not another trailer. The rest of the channel does not offer that kind of moment.
